With the level of knowledge
and experience of Mark Zuckerberg and his team in security technology, it quite
impossible to hack into their project. However, many users have been
complaining before about how their (user) account is/ has been hacked with
facebook responding to the challenge with more security protocols and
configuration.
News reaching us this morning
reveal that both Facebook and Instagram was hacked; Hundreds of millions of
people worldwide were unable to use Facebook and Instagram for around an hour
today after an alleged cyber-attack. An online group Lizard Squad have however
claimed they hacked the two social media sites at around 6am GMT.
Both sites, which have a total of 1.5billion
users, appeared with error messages in the United States, Europe and Asia for
around an hour.
But Mark Zuckerberg's Facebook, which also
owns Instagram denied they were ever hacked and blamed the outage on 'a change
that affected our configuration systems'.
